Style Coaching with Dagmar Gabulová

-

Fashion magazines, fashion shows or even television constantly show us the latest trends and give us advices on how to dress the best. Naturally, a woman wants to look fabulous not only to herself, but also to another people, so she searches for all possible sources and takes inspirations from them. Many times, she gets lost in that huge amount of different colour combinations, cuts or patterns and she can not move on. I was not exception, therefore I asked an expert - the first certificated style coach for Slovakia and Czech Republic - Dagmar Gabulová.

Style Coaching s Dagmar Gabulovou (SK verzia)

Manolo Blahnik - The Art of Shoes exhibition

-

"I love to observe those moments when a woman walks in a pair of heeled shoes, and even if it is only seconds, she feels differently, special. Heels can transform a woman instantly. My heel stilettos are kind of romantic; they emphasize the body movement, enhancing the femininity." Manolo Blahnik is not only a famous shoemaker for me; I can proudly define this talented man as a great artisan with a wide range of ideas and inspiration. His work fascinates me everytime. Because I am obsessed with shoes and Manolo, I have really enjoyed The Art of Shoes exhibition, which takes a place in Museum Kampa (in Prague) and will be there until 12.11.2017. I fall in love with this exhibition too easily and you will see why. Are you ready?

Greetings from BALI

-

"Balance, my darling, is not letting anybody love you less than you love yourself." These words  are resonating in my mind while I am sitting on the airplane and watching the Eat Pray Love movie. Well, it is true that I did not have my balance last few months. I was often under the pressure and I forgot to be cheerful. I felt that I need to travel somewhere, where I can clear my head ... to BALI.

A soul of fashion

-

If fashion is a language, colour is one of its main means of expression. It is the first factor to which we respond. It grabs our attention and sends a message that can alter our perception of a product. It can change our moods, the way we feel about ourselves or how others respond to us. We create our identity and the use of colours has always a special meaning.

Feel special with Bésame cosmetics

-

Every woman wants to feel beautiful and be seen as a someone really special. But today's beauty world (which is full of Kim Kardashian, fake eyelashes, bronzers and hightlighers) creates the weird copies of them. When a woman puts her makeup off and then is looking into the mirror, she will suddenly see a totally different person. It is really interesting that we want to have a respect of ourselves, but we do not show the real face of us to the each other.
Do you remember that admirable era of Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn or Elizabeth Taylor? They became style icons because of their individuality- simple elegance, striking makeup and breathtaking charm. Being special means being yourself. And that is the main idea, what most women do not realize.

Louis Vuitton x Jeff Koons - The Masters collection 2017

-

The sense of mystery is palpable in Louis Vuitton's latest collaboration with artist Jeff Koons. The choice of the world's most famous paintings as a unifying theme for a new line of handbags in "The Masters collection" reflects the artist's preoccupation with the ideas of creativity. Because art does not just belong in ornate picture frames, it is something that lets us become more aware of our life, our potential, and what we can become.

Mr. Selfridge and I

-

Did you ever think about an era where department stores did not really exist or they did not look like today's? What a feeling it had to be for customers, when they finally could the products just touch and find different types, colours or choices of them although they had not to buy anything? What a feeling it had to be for everyone, when a huge curtain of the shop windows was lifted and it showed the beauty and originality of Selfridges to the whole Oxford street? And what a feeling it had to be, when a boss of this massive department store was a man, who put his heart and an enthusiasm into his work? That feeling must be beautiful. I will try to show you exactly this feeling more detailed in today's article.
