I am so happy to have this almost 70 years old dressing table in my room that belonged to my lovely great grandma! Imagine to look at yourself in the mirror and think of your great grandma, who often sat at your place and watched herself in the exact same mirror every day.
What was she thinking of? What shade of lipstick did she use? What kind of parfume did she like? And what about her hair? As women, we tend to care of our makeup and to be honest, we just want to be seen beautiful, right? Back in time, as the past was totally different, so was the ideal of the female beauty. I often has the feeling of being born in the wrong period - I don't see myself as the woman of the 21st century at all...
Thanks to this unique dressing table, I have the special opportunity to travel back in time whenever I sit in front of it. What a magical moment!
