Bratislava Fashion days 2015 - an exclusive fashion show

For one night I became a princess. In my long, powdery evening gown with romantic lace and soft chiffon, on 7.12.2015 I came to enjoy an unique fashion show named Bratislava Fashion days - an exclusive fashion show of evening gowns, which took place in Grand Hotel River Park & Luxury Collection. I fell in love with the Maria Theresa hall, with stunning chandeliers and historical atmosphere. As the name says, except for the luxury hotel´s interior I also had an opportunity to admire the original designs of ballroom dress.

After settling and pleasant speech of Bruno, the whole hall fell into magic (christmas) atmosphere. Lots of  the fashion designers and brand names like Zuzana Haková, Zlatica Hujbertová, Jana Pištejová, Lukáš Kimlička, Jana Jurčenko, Róbert Vrzala, Robert Bartolen, Veronika Hložníková, Rozbora Couture, La Rena, Ida Sandor, Marmare Fashion Design, Katie Q, Alizé, Blažena Ostrovská, Otto Berg, Collectivee a Beáta Rajská have shown their creativity and big talent to us. 

I will show you those, who have inspired me the most.

Na jeden večer som sa stala princeznou. V dlhej róbe pudrovej farby zdobenej romantickou čipkou a jemným šifónom som si dňa 7.12.2015 prišla do hotela Grand Hotel River Park & Luxury Collection vychutnať jedinečnú módnu prehliadku s názvom Bratislavské módne dni - exkluzívna prehliadka plesových šiat. Sála Márie Terézie s nádhernými lustrami a historickou atmosférou si ma naprosto dostala.Ako aj z názvu vyplýva, okrem luxusného interiéru hotela som mala možnosť obdivovať aj návrhy originálnych plesových šiat. 

Po usadení a príjemného príhovoru Bruna Cibereja celú sálu ovládla magická (vianočná) atmosféra.  Svoju kreativitu a veľký talent predviedlo nespočetne veľa návrhárov a módnych značiek ako Zuzana Haková, Zlatica Hujbertová, Jana Pištejová, Lukáš Kimlička, Jana Jurčenko, Róbert Vrzala, Robert Bartolen, Veronika Hložníková, Rozbora Couture, La Rena, Ida Sandor, Marmare Fashion Design, Katie Q, Alizé, Blažena Ostrovská, Otto Berg, Collectivee a Beáta Rajská.

Ja vám predstavím tých, ktorí ma zaujali najviac.

   ALIZÉ

The fashion show started with this cute children collection of my favourite brand names D&G and Gucci. The tartan pattern; red, blue, black colours and elegant look evoked me a christmas atmosphere. Girls were cute and all of us was smiling sincerely at them.

Prehliadku zahájila táto rozkošná detská kolekcia mojich obľúbených značiek D&G a Gucci. Károvaný vzor, farby ako červená, modrá a čierna a elegantný vzhľad vo mne vzbudili vianočnú atmosféru. Dievčatká boli zlaté a vyčarili v hľadisku úprimné úsmevy.

ROBERT BARTOLEN

Day and night. In every "dark" situation sun finally comes up. When I saw the collection, these words exactly came to my mind. The used materials and cuts represented the ease of the breeze; black and gold combination represented the mentioned day and night. Model´s makeup were also very interesting - their skin was shimmering and it evoked the sun shine to me. I really like the way how he plays with symbols, because I like when dress tell their own story!

Deň a noc. V každej "tmavej" situácii nakoniec vyjde slnko. Presne tieto slová mi napadli pri tejto kolekcii. Použité materiály a strihy predstavovali ľahkosť vánku, čierno zlatá kombinácia spomínaný deň a noc. Vizáž modeliek bola tiež zaujímavá - ich pokožka sa trblietala a evokovala vo mne slnečné lúče. Veľmi sa mi páči ako sa návrhár pohral so symbolikou, mám totiž rada, keď šaty rozprávajú svoj vlastný príbeh!

RÓBERT VRZALA

The cold, chaos and fear. A transparent material hides, what it cannot be hidden in this moment. An ispiration for this model was our actual political situation - terorrism. The cold came  along with a strange feeling to think.

Chlad, chaos a strach. Priesvitná látka naoko zahaľuje to, čo sa zahaliť momentálne nedá. Inšpiráciou k vytvoreniu tohto modelu bola aktuálna politická situácia - terorizmus. Spolu s týmto modelom prišiel chlad a zvláštny pocit na zamyslenie. 

ZUZANA HAKOVÁ

A new prototype of a strong woman is in her courage to face the futurism and accept the abnormal geometric cuts in the form of interesting collars or use a crinoline. My favourite colours, satin and the overal modern look really caught my attention!

Nový prototyp silnej ženy sa nesie v odvahe čeliť futurizmu a osvojiť si geometrické abnormálne strihy v podobe zaujímavých límcov či použitia krinolíny. Moje obľúbené farby, saténová látka a celkový moderný vzhľad si ma dostali!

JANA JURČENKO

An elegant lady is gracefully coming to the stage. Pure lines, elegance and Linda´s Dream  jewellery underlined the beauty of a confident woman. This collection is a proof that sometimes the less is more. Except for beautiful jewellery, the dress are also shining, because the woman is wearing them proudly!

Na scénu prichádza elegantná dáma s gráciou. Čisté línie, elegancia a šperky značky Linda´s Dream podčiarkli krásu sebavedomej ženy. Táto kolekcia je dôkazom, že menej je niekedy viac.Okrem nádherných šperkov žiaria aj modely, pretože ich má na sebe žena, ktorá ich hrdo nosí!

OTTO BERG

Once again it showed my passion for men in suits. This is how the real gentleman looks like! Immortal black and white combination and accessories like an umbrella, walking stick,bow tie or top hat also got me.

Opäť sa potvrdila moja slabosť na pánov v oblekoch. Presne takto vyzerá gentleman! Dostala ma aj nesmrteľná čierno-biela kombinácia a doplnky ako dáždnik, vychádzková palička, motýlik či cylinder.

BEÁTA RAJSKÁ

Faires like from a fairytale. Romantic curly hair and lace, beautiful crowns, softness and charisma enchanted me. The used cuts were also great, so I can see the women´s beauty not only in young girl, but also in mature woman.

Víly ako z rozprávky. Romantické vlny a čipka, krásne korunky, jemnosť a charizma ma očarili. Skvelé boli aj zvolené strihy, takže som mala možnosť vidieť ženskú krásu nielen v mladom dievčati, ale aj v zrelej žene.

JANA PIŠTEJOVÁ

This collection evoked me the luxury and the return to the history. I fell in love with the wonderful baroque prints, historical details and refined materials. I enjoy every collection by Jana Pištejová, because she always takes my breath away. Bravo!

Táto kolekcia vo mne evokovala luxus a návrat do histórie. Krásne barokové potlače, historicky zvolené detaily a rafinované materiály som si jednoducho zamilovala. Na kolekciu Jany Pištejovej sa vždy teším, pretože ma vždy dokáže ohúriť. Bravo!

LUKÁŠ KIMLIČKA

The Queen of the whole fashion show is coming. Literally. This is  the most stunning model of the entire fashion show for me, no doubts. Queen´s crown and earrings, sexy cut and noble material with lace application. I also really appreciate the black and blue combination. Lukáš has a big talent and I am without the words again. Simply gorgeous!

Tak a prichádza kráľovná celej prehliadky. Doslovne. Toto je bezpochybne pre mňa najkrajší model prehliadky. Kráľovská korunka a náušnice, sexy strih a honosný materiál s použitím čipky. Veľmi oceňujem kombináciu čiernej a modrej. Lukáš je veľký talent a ja opäť zostávam bez slov. Nádhera!

VERONIKA HLOŽNÍKOVÁ

"Bathory model", which was inspired by the Báthory movie (by director Jakubisko), was stunning. It suits to Soňa Skoncová very much. Dark black is immortal. This model is a prototype of the modern countess. The leather detail just proves the power, cold and governance.

Model "Báthory" ktorý bol inšpirovaný filmom Báthorička od režiséra Jakubiska bol úchvatný. A Soni Skoncovej veľmi pristal. Temná čierna je nesmrteľná. Tento model je pre mňa prototypom modernej grófky. Kožený detail len potvrdzuje silu, chlad a vládu.

I am really thankful for being a part of this fabulous event and I am looking forward to the next similar events. We have many talented fashion designers in Slovakia  and I am very proud of it. Ťhank you all, it was magnifique!

Som veľmi vďačná, že som mala možnosť zúčastniť sa na tomto rozprávkovom večeri a už teraz sa teším na ďalšie podobné projekty. Na Slovensku  máme veľa talentovaných návrhárov, na čo som patrične hrdá. Ďakujem, bola to pastva pre oči!
